Dino Tank

A PC based game where players control a tank with a specific dinosaur. Each tank and dinosaur have different attributes allowing for different combinations.

This project built upon the tanks multiplayer template from Unity themselves. From this point, more detailed mechanics were added to distinguish itself from other similar games. Originally created for mobile, it then switched platforms a few times. While I worked on it, it was transitioning into a standalone PC game. Further work on it would also give us the opportunity to try and port it to the Nintendo Switch.

Projects

Here is a small collection of things I have worked on. There is a lot more to come. This page will highlight the most prominent things I've done.

Unity

Card game based on chaining together attacks to deal more damage to opponent.

Card game constructed for a class in Full Sail University.

Chain together attacks to deal more damage to opponent. The player can choose their fighter from a range of fighters with different abilities. These abilities will help the player throughout the game. Some fighter’s abilities increase their power, while others help maintain energy consumption.

Problems Encountered

  • Energy number count needed for each game changed from game to game.

  • Number of overall game cards needed for play was hard to calculate.

Toy Box

In this project we were only able to utilize certain tools and assets. We could build anything we wanted to, but it was limited to primitives created in Unity. This meant that I could not make models in Maya and port them over. The point of this project was to create a cohesive theme with two separate scenes and use the general behavior script.

This meant that I could not make models in Maya and port them over. I spent too much time with modeling the different things in the scenes than I did on how the scenes were connected, but some of the mechanics are okay.

Room Demo

A personal project where the player can move around, pick up items and equip them as well as throw them. The environment has a breakable script on it, that allows for most items to be damaged by thrown items.

The environment has a breakable script on it, that allows for most items to be damaged by thrown items. After an object is thrown, it can damage most things within the room. Once destroyed, the pieces break apart and fall.

East Mansion

This is a personal project of mine that I have put a lot of time and work into. It will be a game, but as for now it is just the framework and start.

Galactic Kings

Cooperative adventure-based game where players work together to complete Mario 64 style levels while collecting gear to increase their abilities.

This small demo focused on two main characters. Vega, a cyborg and Naomi, a mystic. The two characters have different abilities and attributes to complete levels. Players could play single player or coop to complete levels. In each level there are a few objects that the players can obtain. One object being a utility, one being a weapon and the final things are small collectibles. The utilities and weapons collected would then be added to a weapon vault. Before selecting a level, the player can equip something that may help them within the level. Such as a jump booster or a flame cloak.

Dead Daze

Dead Daze

Destroy these zombies with some nice killing tools in VR!

In Dead Daze: Zombie Disposal Unit, you play as a disposal worker. You must clean up the areas that are tasked to you. Killing a zombie will grant the player points which can be used to purchase disposal weapons. If the player disposes of the zombies body as well, it will grant additional points to the player. So cleaning up bodies when you can is more effective in how you gain points.

Unity

Color Control

Compete with others to paint the background your color!

In Color Control you choose from 1 of 4 characters with different special abilities. Win the game by painting the most area. Opponents can repaint what you have already done, stealing your points. Claiming clean space grants more points than repainting over other colors.
